    The grocery shopping guide says you should only eat complex carbs 1x a day, but the daily guide has it at every meal. what is correct?

      @ Julie,
      For years, we have advised just once per day for best results. If you are losing quickly, you can add one.

    Thoughts on canned (light) coconut milk and canned (drained and rinsed low sodium beans?

      @ Chantray,
      No coconut milk. You can have 1/2 cup of the rinsed beans as your complex carb.
