do you use the peppers as a side or do you mix it with ground meat when you make the patties?

I thought balsamic vineagar was ok….I have seen somewhere that all vinegar was ok. I have been using only balsamic on all of my salad……

      @ Hal,
Most vinegars are fine. Some people have a hard time with balsamic vinegar because of the sugar content.

I have been making these burgers for over a year now! They are fabulous. My husband and I prefer them over any other burger. I used this recipe a few times but modified it to suit my needs. I will buy 2 containers of turkey (2.6 lbs total) at a time to make about 10 burgers, wrap individually in wax paper, and freeze.
Mix 2.6 lbs of 93% ground turkey, 1 zuchinni chopped finely, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt & pepper, chipotle chili powder all to taste. Add the franks red hot buffalo sauce to the meat. Make into patties and freeze. Ready to grill whenever you want. 🙂 thanks for your recipe!

      @ Karl,
Enjoy this. For best results, use Pam or only 1T of olive oil in nonstick pan.

So, is that the case in both phases ?
Also I noticed a lot of recipes call for veggies that aren’t on the grocery list, such as; onions, bell peppers are they ok ?
Seafood ? Which face and your suggestions… Grilled shrimp ?
One more question is whole wheat pasta considered an ok complex carb ?

          @ Rachael,
Most veggies are good, and those are fine. Just need to limit where it says that – corn, potatoes, etc.
Try the Salmon recipe – can be used for other fish. There is also a recipe for tilapia. Shrimp okay in moderation.
No wheat on the cleanse. Complex carbs suggested are hummus, half a sweet potato, 1/2 cup brown rice. Only have 1.

      @ Rodd,
Olive oil in small quantities is acceptable per plan, but on Deanne’s recipe, we would suggest using PAM or grilling.

The Buffalo Turkey burgers are AWesome! A Definite must try. My husband mis-read the instructions and mixed the hot wing sauce in with the meat. It was pretty spicy, but really good. the smell was awesome too. maybe cut the hot wing sauce in half for a milder patty!

      @ Ron,
It would depend on the ingredients. If there is sugar, or other substance we are trying to avoid, then not a good idea. Usually any jerky is way too high in sodium.

Eggs are great. You can also use fish or other lean protein. Add some more vegetables, but skip the cheese.

We did the turkey burgers last night also and they were great. Im in the 10 day cleanse now. Im not a big salmon guy, so I will make chicken breasts for salads. Can we marinate the chicken in buffalo sauce?

That turkey burger recipe called for franks red hot, can I use that on my chicken during the cleanse phase?

    Thanks
